Is ips worth it?

Exclusive Pros

TN = fast response time

IPS = high color volume(not accuracy, volume), wider viewing angles

VA = much higher contrast, deeper more uniform blacks

Cons

Garbage Blacks and Contrast = TN and IPS

Low viewing angles = TN and VA

Slow Response time = IPS

All 3 panel types can be color accurate, though TN would be limited in color volume, IPS makes cheaper panels capable of higher color volume, VA's only con is viewing angles, but its nowhere near as bad as TN in terms of shift, and should not cause issues while sitting on a desk.

Overall, with all the pros and con, VA is the best balanced, and will create the best picture quality.
