Rank 18*: Competitive Mode In Review - Uncle Dane

I would LOVE to play competitive mode, I love the sixes format and honestly Valve's comp is basically prolander which I like very much. I get extremely bored of playing against 2 scouts, 2 soldiers, 1 demo, 1 medic 24/7. There is problems with some unlocks sure cough quickfix cough, even though the TFteam has confirmed the generalist/specialist system I honestly don't mind seeing specialists ran full time, like it would allow the meta shift A LOT MORE.

Spreading out the map pool for competitive would be amazing, like I love playing payload, koth in valve comp. I really wish the 6s community would see that some gamemodes are much more fun than 5cp.

Another problem I have with matchmaking is the god damn graphics requirements, I'm forced to play without dx8 which is outdated as hell, but it's the only way for me to play with my potato, and it's the same for a good chunk of the tf2 community that'd probably actually play competitive. Like honestly if you are embarrassed that potential new players are going to see people streaming tf2 with piss poor graphics OPTIMIZE THE DAMN GAME. It's about 9 years old for gods sake! I can run other games from 2007 perfectly fine on my potato. I'd gladly run dx9 if it was runable.
