RDDT EU

But why did you switch to a clan that isn't connected to reddit at all? There are still RDDT0/8/9 around you could have used for a more hardcore CW clan or just put the not-so-good ones into RDDT1 or even a 3rd CW clan. There were many possibilities instead of abandoning RDDT.

Why would they want to stay in RDDT? It isn't a clan that has any sort of prestige to it, and it just carries a whole lot of baggage in terms of dead weight sub-clans. The US server has a much better activity rate because of the lack of language barriers on the US server, which makes the group as a whole stronger.

The reason for the communication to the sub clans being non-existent for quite a while is because there hasn't been a social commander for a while. The old commander left for real life reasons and since then no one from RDDT main has wanted the job even though our leadership tried to push it onto us. The reason for this is because it's a hand holding job for people who just want to take and not give anything back.

As for the old RDDT/new HDU members still using the TS server, that's because the merge isn't completely settled yet, people still come to the RDDT one out of habit, and bear in mind that many of these players donated to the server too.

Now while mentioning this I have never seen any ex-RDDT/HDU member tooning up with any of the other clan members. All you did was play by your self and this mentality surely bled over to other RDDTs as well. In the past there were no players of different clans platooning up with each other but in the last few days I saw more and more mixed social platoons.

Now, I may be guilty of being elitist because I stopped platooning with anyone from the sub-clans a long time ago. I didn't consciously make the decision to stop but it's just because it isn't fun for me to platoon with them. I mainly platoon with friends and people of a similar skill level to me now. When I did platoon with sub-clan members, I quickly got frustrated because of their unwillingness/inability to improve themselves, poor knowledge of the game (but an attitude that they know everything) and just general head-in-sand attitude. I also made a few rage quit by accident because I wouldn't accept that their ignorance was as good as facts, and when I tried to argue it with them they couldn't. The good players will argue their corner which is much more fun, especially if i'm wrong.

On the flip side of this, I could also call the sub-clan members entitled, because they feel that they deserve platoons with much better players than themselves. If I wanted to platoon with pubbies I would literally just play solo. Then I could quit the battle if I fuck up early in a match.

I have never seen any community nights taking place while I was in RDDT3/7. There were maybe 3 or 4 but that was it. What about comming together as a community and derping around in training rooms?

You could always have taken up the banner and organised one yourself. Or do you prefer having your hand held?

About those forums you created: I may say that no one in RDDT7 ever used the forums for anything. Most even didn't know it existed.

That sounds entirely like a RDDT7 leadership problem communicating that to your members. Or do you prefer having your hand held?

Communication across all the RDDT clans were almost non-existant up to this point. Now since Burgers' in charge things really start to improve and we're getting more privileges than we did with your leadership. Why didn't you try to improve such things? To busy playing tanks in your secret channels I guess.

Why didn't you try improving things? The social commander/liaison role has no reason to be from RDDT main. Or do you prefer having your hand held?

I do wish you luck with your casual clans though, It's obvious that there is some major differences and rifts in the old leadership, with the new one being more focused on the social aspects that the old one felt there was no benefit to.

Hopefully RDDT main will still be able to do Clan wars too, and maybe even land one day. Maybe even get the camo next campaign if they try hard enough!
