Them talking about how indigenous people hated gays too makes my skin crawl. In 2004 the chiefs of ontario published a memo saying that they only recognized marriage between a man and a woman. Their entire reasoning was the book of genesis. There is no indigenous concept of homophobia that we know of. It was entirely a concept spread by Christianity (which was ingrained in indigenous culture in Canada through residential schools that didn't end until the 80s and 90s)
