Really fed up with my immigration lawyer and the current administration

I applied to remove the conditions on my green card in September 2019. Applied for naturalization in February 2021. Whatever fucking letter USCIS gave me to extend my green card/ employment authorization expired in May 2021. As a result I got fired when all I could show my employer was the receipt for my naturalization application, and receipt for my green card adjustment of status application, and confirmation that USCIS gave me an Infopass appointment to go get my passport stamped as proof of residency. Still got fired.

I did everything right, I have never been undocumented in this country, yet here I am getting fired from a job after working two years there while I am waiting for my naturalization paperwork. I would have left already if my native country was not such a shit show. Maybe it’s time to pack and apply for job overseas. What’s the fucking point anyway?
