Unpopular opinion: SquadZ is more what squad should be than vanilla Squad. Cause lives actually matter, you always stick together, communication is key, the whole command structure matters (if the SLs go down then it becomes clusterfuck), and there’s a constant tension.

Now compare that with squad: no one cares about their life, people run around like chickens, rarely do people communicate (what’s the point when it’s just a meat grinder), when your SL leaves it doesn’t matter since ur doing the same shit anyways, and there’s no tension cause you can just respawn in 45 seconds.

I just hope the devs can somehow get all the good non-zombie parts of the mod and put it in squad.
