Reddit, If someone gave you a box containing everything you've ever lost, what would be the first thing you'd look for?

Ex husband was the most forgetful, scatterbrained man alive. Our living situation was always up in the air or on the verge of being so our entire time together. For a while everything I owned was in Pods at a storage facility because we were at a constant 'in between.' I had/have nice things too! Things I've worked hard to find and collect. I had this great framed print of Rest on the Flight into Egypt by Luc-Olivier Merson from the Boston Museum of Art. It was just a print ordered from a catalog. But it was big and gave me the most peaceful quite feeling. You could feel how still the air was. The placid smile on the sphinx face. The dying fire. I loved it all. But the ex packed everything up when we had to vacate a house. Months later we were getting ready to move across the country and we took everything in those pods and moved them into a semi trailer ourselves. We had a bunch that we were leaving behind. The Pod place said they would take care of donating stuff that was left behind. Bumbling McGoo stashed a bunch of my pictures behind an old futon in one of the pods and since we were leaving the futon behind, he never even looked behind it. He just left it all. I lost that picture, another one of Victorian girl in pink with cherry blossoms, two glass shelves for my curio cabinet AND the other matching twin comforter it was all wrapped in. I didn't even know it until a few days after we had moved in to our new place. God, my heart broke. That stuff was long gone. My ex had a brain like a sieve and he f'ed up a lot of stuff. But losing that picture still upsets me. He tried to replace it a few years later. He bought a much smaller version that didn't have the same coloring or clarity. I have it. It's hanging above the desk. But looking at it doesn't give me the joy that my original one did. This one just reminds me of a several years long mistake.
