This was a recurring dream I had as a little girl. It always made me wonder why I've had this exact dream so many times and every time it was the exact same, especially when I wasn't exposed to things of this nature until much later, as far as I can remember.

I'm a middle aged man in a suit, silently walking with another similarly dressed man. We both were carrying briefcases, moving urgently through a crowded metropolitan area. We were rushed, panicked almost, but keeping it cool. Something we were carrying was very important and we were either on a time limit or trying to escape from something or someone. We hail a taxi, my partner says something to the driver which I can never remember. As we close the doors and begin to move, I'm shot 3 times in the chest by someone outside the taxi. This is the only dream where I've woken up feeling residual pain, and the only dream where I don't wake up at the very moment of deadly impact. It lasts a few more seconds. Intense pain, my ears ringing, people scrambling around inside the taxi, the feeling of heat spreading across my chest and abdomen and a feeling of shock.

I've considered it could be a past life of mine, but I've had no other indications of past life memories cropping up. So I just leave it to childlike imagination.
