Redditors under 21, what is something older people just don't understand?

Okay. Ill bite.

  • Ill give you this one, it did come off as a clump of text

  • Life is full of being told to do things that you don't want to do FOR YOU. That's how life is FOR YOU, Do you think the CEO of a major company gets told to do things he doesn't want to do? Do you think the young business owner who designs a popular app gets told to do things he doesn't want to do? What do you do anyways? Are you some Joe who works a regular job? You think everyone is going to be that way?

  • School nowadays in general is EXTREMELY flawed, frustrating and will drive you insane. Its not based on learning its based on pure work, Basically how much work can you put out - No one cares how much you learn and now one cares how much you feel stupid..Now just because the older generation had such a shitty experience, does that mean we should? I think we should realize somethings wrong and CHANGE IT you know.. make things better?

  • "We" are well aware of your feelings, Who's we? You think that every single person from an older generation is exactly the same? They ALL care about your feelings? There's understanding old people and there's old people that just plain don't give a shit and just want authority over you, You often find more of the latter.

So hows about YOU remember this, Little child. The world isn't binary, There are many variations and possibilitys and almost every option exists in the same time, And there are so many options that you cant even fathom the number of possibilitys for how ones life could go. Just because you haven't seen life beyond your regular job, kids and endless bills doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Now treat that 17 year old with some respect and maybe you might get some too.
