Refusing to make a cake for a gay couple is the same as refusing to make a cake for an interracial couple

There was a case last year where a baker refused to make a wedding cake for a gay couple. Sorry to chime in here but I wanted to make an argument in favor of the bakery that refused the design a wedding cake for a gay couple. The Supreme Court ruled in his favor.

But this is what happened—

He wasn’t refusing them service because they were gay it was because it was specifically to celebrate a ceremony that is against his religion. He states that would have made them a cake for other occasions/purposes, which he offered. The baker doesn’t even make cakes to celebrate Halloween.

The bottom line is that there are plenty of other bakers more than willing to serve them. It’s the baker’s choice and if he loses business because of it it’s his loss too.
