To be frank I don’t see a need to be helpful. You’re giving up on this puppy after a few days because it’s hard, and have come to Reddit multiple times in those couple of days looking for endless amounts of sympathy rather than taking that time to bond with your dog. It takes more than a week for a dog to become comfortable in their new home, you giving up so fast gives the dog no chance to become accustomed to its new environment and constantly rehoming is very tough on the dog. I went through a very tough time the first couple weeks raising my puppy and thought about giving up, but to just do so after a couple of days is astonishing. If you can’t even handle a week you really didn’t prepare.
