This is a seriously sketchy agreement you seem to have entered into and I think a bit more info is needed. The wording you’ve used here is very vague and odd.

When you mention him recording conversations. Is he recording you having a conversation with other people? Or is he recording conversations between him and you? He is within his rights legally to record any conversation that he is a part of. He cannot record conversations that you’re having in the home with other people as you have an expectation of privacy in your home.
