There was so much potential it hurts. This should have been 99% Abby's story, but then they couldn't sell you Ellie editions and bait Joel in trailers.

The twist at the end should have been you playing as Ellie slaughtering characters you've grown to like. You want an audience to like somebody, you hide their evil instead of starting with it. And if you want an audience to like a character after they do something evil, why go out of your way to make them unattractive. The easiest way to try and win people over would have been to make her "pretty". Druckmann is a moron.

I thought enemies shouting their dead friend's names was gonna make me feel bad. It makes me giggle. Such a waste, it could have been incredible.

This has been a review of a game I have not played and probably won't because I can just play the first game instead.
