Judging by the last few episodes - I think Robyn realized that Christine was already gone and Jenelle was halfway out the door... And they panicked at the thought of losing the show. So Robyn and Kody tried to put on their best performance to show the world they could carry "Sister Wives" by themselves. It looked like they were auditioning for their own TLC show - that focuses only on Robyn, Kody and her kids.

So we saw Robyn and her daughters being EXTRA dramatic and emotional (in every scene and EVERY confessional). Robyn and Kody "almost died" lol. We saw saw scenes of just Robyn's children being "funny" (yikes) and super emotional about their strong bond with Father-Of-The-Year Kody. We saw Robyn playing dumb/confused...but also refereeing every family meeting. Like a boss-babe. We saw how kooky and lovable Robyn is - dressing up like Cleopatra. ... So her kids could celebrate Halloween within the property lines. I think all of this was performative because Robyn and Kody NEED that TLC money to support their luxurious lifestyle.

I think that like true narcissists - Robyn and Kody think that they are the lovable stars of "Sister Wives" and they truly thought that viewers would see Jenelle and Christine as the ugly, ungrateful "villains" - for leaving a loveless, abusive marriage. Kobyn is all kinds of delusional. I can gaurantee they have spent the last year pitching their own show to TLC... Like "Kody and Robyn - finding true love after Sister Wives". Or some garbage like that.
