[Rolex] Just got my graduation gift. Yachtmaster 116622 Platinum Bezel/Dial

My parents offered to buy me a watch for my graduation but I wanted something that was somewhat atypical. I was debating between a Yachtmaster, a stainless steel AP, and a Tudor Heritage Advisor. When I narrowed it down to a Yachtmaster, there were a lot of different dial options to choose from like a deep blue or a more gray Rhodium dial. In the end I liked the way this one looked the most and thought it was a much more all around watch. I thought it was a combination of sporty and dressy, and the platinum dial is much more subdued. The lume on this thing is also crazy and lasts 8 hours in a light blue. It contrasts a lot better with the platinum face rather than the blue one which has the same color lume. It also has a bi-directional bezel like the GMT, but this one clicks 10 times for every hour rather than once. The bezel rotates really smoothly as well. All in all I'm really happy with the choice I've made, especially because this watch was discontinued a few months ago. I got it from London Jewelers and they only had 3 left - after that there won't be any more 116622 ref number Rolex watches.
