[RUMOR] Game Developer's Sister Kidnapped by Yakuza to Stop their Cooperation with Nintendo [X-Post from /r/Games, more information and explanation in comments.]

Re-commenting from this previous thread. It was originally deleted by the mods for a violation of rule 7.4,

"No content focusing on non-gaming related details of gaming figures - Content regarding individuals or groups is only allowed when it is directly related to a game or major life events (e.g. company move, death, acquirement, sponsorships, "Gabe is the new CEO of Activision" or "Microsoft buys the Playstation brand for $10 and a pack of Oreos"). Posts that focus on non-gaming related details (e.g. "CliffyB thinks Donnie Darko defines him as a person, insists that it's not a phase, mom" or "Does anyone else think that Valve should stop providing free junk food for their employees?") are not allowed."

However, this information shouldn't have been removed due to Rule 7.4 as it is inplicitly linked towards a game developer's cooperation with the video game giant Nintendo. This is not unrelated to video games, and IS, in fact, related to a major life event, THE KIDNAPPING OF THE DEVELOPER'S SISTER.

Edit: The mods of /r/Games have deleted the post once again. I will contact them about getting this straightened out.

If what everything in this article is true, then the company being referenced in the [REDACTED] tags have a history of scandals involving isolation in rooms, according to this paragraph:

I don’t know how much you know about [REDACTED], but are you aware of the “quarantine room” [隔離部屋, literal translation: “Isolation room”] problem from around the year 2000? They would put employees alone in a room and give them absolutely nothing to do, in order to make them resign. [REDACTED] did that, and former [REDACTED] employees sued them and won. That’s the kind of thing [REDACTED] did back then. They didn’t just put people behind a partition or something, they sent them away to a completely different floor of the building. [REDACTED] didn’t just lose a lawsuit over this, they completely tarnished their image. Nobody wanted to buy games from a company like that. It became a major social issue. Like this article, about [REDACTED] being sued for the quarantine room and issuing a public apology.

Does anyone know what company they may be referring to in this instance based on this scandal? I do not have the research skills necessary to start digging for this type of information. Any surface search about isolation rooms in Japan simply keeps coming up with results about Hikikomori, a condition unrelated to this rumor.
