Is Russia going to be Trump's Watergate?

The longer this goes on the fishier it becomes. There's more than likely something going on but if there isn't we need to know either way. If they don't have anything to hide, why not just let them do an investigation. It all comes down to the tax returns, if he doesn't owe Putin and his boys a bunch of money, why doesn't he just put out his tax returns out and settle everything once and for all.

I think at this point it's more a question of if it this is all something like Watergate where the cover up was worse than the crime or if the crime is truly something like collusion or Trump owing money to Putin and his boys. Like Rachel Maddow said this week, it's a question of whether or not it's them being nefarious or stupid.

Just like the Sessions thing, if you don't have anything to hid, be honest. Sessions talking to the Russian Ambassador in of itself isn't the problem, he's a Senator and it could have been Senator stuff. However when asked, why didn't he say "I talked to him but it was Senator stuff, not Trump stuff." He should have been forthright and the fact that he wasn't sheds a negative tone on everything else.

The more they hide, lie, keep secrets, and dodge questions , the worse they look.
