sad gamer moment

Well for 1. it'd be nice if a product actually reached it's intended market instead of being bled dry by people trying to make a profit
and 2. While miners are good for sales, the companies (at a certain point) want to gain the benefit of their cards actually being in consumer's hands on a mass scale to build a following and widespread positive feedback on the quality and performance (IN CONSUMER APPLICATIONS NOT JUST MINING) of their revision of a specific card, to boost their reputation and consumer loyalty for future revisions of newer cards or even the same card in comparison to their competitors,

Not sure why a company taking a measure to be consumer friendly instead of continuing to be compliant with thousands of their GPU's being stuffed in for-profit rigs with 50 other cards while millions of people have waited a year just to get their hands on ONE and haven't even been able to manage that?

It's not like they won't still sell revisions of those cards with mining capabilities, but what's exactly wrong with making a consumer specific line to deter them being vacuumed up by people who just want to use them for money instead of their intended purpose?
