Sam Darnold Reportedly 'Unlikely' to Leave USC for 2018 NFL Draft

You seem to be arguing that he hasn't done enough to distance himself from his father and his antics.

That I am.

Whether he should be more proactive and definite in his stance on some of his father's statements is fair to argue, but I'm arguing that he hasn't personally done anything to deserve the heat he's getting. His father and the media are the culprits.

So we agree that LaVar's antics is the reason for the added heat.

Perhaps I'm being particular but it's not Lonzo's company. It's his father's. I sincerely doubt he has much control over what his father does. Personally, I think he jumps ship as sometime in the future.

Maybe he will. I would respect him more then. LaVar seems like a good dad. I have a feeling he'd listen to Lonzo telling him to cool it a bit.

Also, we just don't know what's been said behind doors. Perhaps he's voiced his opposition but not much has changed.

I have to believe that relationship would be more strained in that case, and find that tough to believe. In interviews, Lonzo seems to even endorse his points passively in interviews in a joking manner.
