Samsung TVs Start Inserting Ads Into Your Movies

don't buy a samsung TV.

Don't buy Samsung anything. They have a serious record of dishonesty and deception and abusing the customer whenever they can get away with it while pushing their giant Samsung ad campaign. They participated in price fixing agreements with other companies, tax evasion, bribery, they CHEATED on phone benchmarks. They sold SHITTY blu-ray players with only a 90-day labor warranty and were charging loads of people $100-$150+ to repair them when they broke. I personally witnessed how shitty their players were working at Best Buy in my last days of retail when blu-ray was first becoming popular. Combine every other brand of player and they still didn't come in even half as often as this ONE line of models from Samsung. I dealt with so many (justifiably) furious people over that shit. They're STILL only offering 90 days on their shitty blu-ray players' labor warranty, too.

Then, my personal experience.. they never returned my $350 computer monitor after I sent it for warranty repairs. They never even SHIPPED it. They flat out admit they lost it. That isn't what got me though ..

I mean -- mistakes happen. Things get lost. I wasn't terribly upset over that, but the problem was, it then took 6 months fighting with them, contacting the BBB, sending an e-mail to every Samsung district manager in the U.S., calling their support 11 times, formally threatening legal action via written letter, and 20-30 e-mails for them to finally replace it! They kept trying to offer me low-end $150 monitors in replacement for it, too.

They notoriously inflate and bullshit the numbers on their monitors like "20 million : 1 contrast ratio!!"
