Yep one guy. Probably not white. Anyways, this little group a lot of times will have to sign off on who you interview. They also can tell you, you need to pay people more just because they are not white males.
HR (mostly women) carries the same weight in the bigger companies. They are specifically told to look for "diversity".
You can hire 1000 scientists and as long as you have the required number of women in the company or university you're fine, even if they're all secretaries.
No actually there are no quotas. What you are posting is not true in the slightest. The naughty lists are by position. So typically this doesn't work for guys. Maybe pharmacy people or vets are some ones that come to mind where males would get preferential hiring.

The three women scored 0%. They should have never been interviewed to start with but that is beside the point. That is why they scored 0%. 4 people were highered. Just take a stab at who got the jobs and only one of the guys did.
