"The state mandating that you have to write the message crosses a border"

Did it cross your imaginary border when they mandated that you pay car insurance? Vaccinate your children? Give them an education? Get a social security number? I mean what specifically about serving all customers equally crosses a border for you?

Also, why do we have such a big focus on gays and religion being related at all? Because the bible says a lot more about never having a divorce than it does about gay people. So I think it's shocking that you're willing to argue about how gay people don't deserve equality because of some imaginary border created by your holy book when you have never once spoken out about how divorcees should deal with those same problems.

How many times has the baker here refused to make cakes for divorce parties, or refused to write "congratulations" on a celebratory cake because it might be for divorce? Has he turned down Jewish customers for ordering cake on Jewish holidays? Why do we draw the line at homosexuality?
