'I saw ISIS playing with a severed head as if it was a football. They killed children in front of their parents': Refugees in Yarmouk reveal atrocities they have seen since Islamic State took over the camp

Hi Trollwutwut:

Well... I think the problem with your comments above (which are receiving massive downvotes), is as follows:

1)

You do not really seem shocked or bothered by what ISIS is doing. (At least you have not expressed any outrage about the actions of ISIS in the comments I have seen above.)

The primary point of this thread is about the stomach churning horrors of ISIS, which is unlike any other evil many people in the modern world have seen before.

2)

Further, not only do you seem to NOT be expressing any empathy or outrage, and condemnation of ISIS's victims, and the horrific torture of thousands of people, in utterly sadistic ways (which again is the main point of this post), you seem instead, to have focused your attention, in a kind of one-track-mind-tunnel-vision agenda to attack the track record of the USA.

So again, you appear to be getting emotionally passionate about condemning/attacking the USA, rather than expressing emotions for the victims.

And that might be putting some people off here.

Despite the horrors and wrongs that some members of US armed forces have committed in the past, ISIS is light years ahead of the USA, in terms of absolute shocking torture, and... evil.

3)

Finally... I actually agree with you, in that some members of the US armed forces have committed some rather profound/horrific acts of their own. And certainly, we have to acknowledge that. We just can't sweep it under the rug, or the USA will not continue to grow, and triumph against past wrongs.

But no nation is perfect. Not a SINGLE one.

I could be wrong, but of all nations I am aware of, the USA is one of the few nations that allows for strong, genuine, ongoing criticism of it's history, actions, past politicians, and even strong ridicule of it's current politicians.

So the USA is NOTHING like ISIS.

But again, the USA is far from innocent, and has much further to go, in it's great journey of democracy.

In short, this post is about the utter evil of ISIS, which again, is unlike anything many people in the modern world have ever seen.

ISIS MUST be stopped, and we must triumph against such abysmal evil.
