saw this on Facebook, anyone else got into trouble for weird things?

Disagree. We're in the insurance industry. One company sold its employer liability claims division to a different company. I was hired by the different company but started out working under policies from the one company. It was incredibly more lax, and i barely heard from my supervisor before the transition. She trusted us to work however we wanted to work.

She does oppose this different company's policies, and she doesn't enforce some things like delegating our emails to her (yes, that's a thing) because reports aren't run on our emails while reports on our voicemails are. Why this different company is obsessed to this degree with us returning calls is beyond me.

There are things that should be closely audited in our line of work. You should track things that actually matter like state compliance or timely authorization of things or settlement approvals, but voicemails ain't it.
