Self defense courses for men?

Hopefully I can clear up some of these answers:

  • best bang/buck/training: pepper spray. It’s $10 and you just spray it.
  • if you think your life will be on the line: concealed permit + gun + firearms training
  • no weapons, runner: weight lifting (strength is a predictor of >80% of fighting performance source: broscience), running/parkour, obstacle courses
  • no weapons, fighter: weight lifting, boxing, judo, jiujitsu, or mma

Highly recommend taking an actual self defense course that teaches you about situational awareness. There is Please don’t waste your time or money on anything else. Remember that the easiest way to win a fight is to avoid getting into one.
