Lol. Entps. You pack a punch with your words. I’d suggest in general a different delivery. But if that’s your knee jerk reaction how can you expect him to stop his? If you can deliver the same message in a different way please do. He can read what’s behind it. I can. Maybe I can’t ;) and am oblivious.

I actually gave an old entp acquaintance a bit of a smack down for dropping the sarcasm and having a good conversation to then putting the gloves back on as delivering punches. I stopped talking to him altogether which is a shame because we had a great time when he wasn’t being biting. ISFJs do this too.

Depends on the person, how strong your relationship is and what it is you’re actually trying to achieve. All in all though, if you appreciate this person or any person in your life- talk to them. Masks off and defenses down.
