[Serious] Athiests who turned religious, why?

As humans we only have the ability to think in terms of the physical universe we occupy. God transcends our dimension and all dimensions for that matter (google “God dimension”, it’s fucking mind-blowing). The Abrahamic religious belief is that God always was.. no ending, no beginning and He had no creator. Time as a linear construct makes it impossible for us to comprehend an existence where time has no bearing, which I think scares a lot of people bc time is one of the most constant and dependable aspects of our lives. God gave us a brain that was meant to only understand things in our realm. To each their own, but it’s my personal belief that for someone to dismiss God simply bc they can’t explain it is very simple-minded.
