I ask since I had an experience at work Saturday night that I investigated throughout the week and have come to the conclusion that some major fucked up shit went on.

So it's Halloween night and I'm stuck at work at a large office building. Now I happen to work at one of these nice tech companies with wide open floors and space to see who is there (but I'm the only one in the building on Saturdays). Well I invited my GF to come watch some Netflix and have dinner with me since we couldn't go out that night and around 9PM is when it started. This loud, heavy, booming, and repeated sound as if someone was pushing something heavy with 4 wheels over tile. This sound usually comes from the cleaners, but they are off on Saturday, and I looked to the lobby where they usually do this and it was empty.

So I'm thinking someone my be working upstairs since the sound was coming from that direction. So I ignore the sound and get back to some Charlie Brown with the GF when she finally looks at me and says "okay this is getting weird, can you do anything?"

I'm not one to be a chicken when a hot girl asks me to take care of her, so I grab a cricket bat from my friends desk and start walking towards the origin of that sound. Back side of the officce and right above me seems to be where this sound is coming from. As I'm creeping toward ths spot I start getting the chills and the sound gets louder and louder.

Well just as I get to the spot where I figured this low and deep sound comes from above and then.... NOTHING. No sound no nothing. It literally stopped as soon as I got to it's spot.

The reason I took a week to post this is that I wanted to figure out where the sound came from with my boss (me hoping it's not demons) and he basically tells me he has no idea why I heard that and neither does anyone else. So now I really am not liking the whole work alone thing. It was just way freaky for that sound to stop immediately.
