[Serious] Hotties of Reddit, when did you discover that you were hot and how did it affect your personality?

To change things up a bit, I'll give you my perspective from a girl still in high school. (yes, Ew, I know. Teenagers are annoying and gross)

Ultimately, people automatically assume that I am very dumb and don't have much depth to me because I am considered pretty. For example, when I came into my honors biology course everyone including my teacher asked if I was in the wrong classroom. I also overheard a bunch of my peers whispering about how I "can't be in honors courses or AP." People also feel the need to talk to me like I'm a child and I just sort of go with it because there's no point in being a jackass and prove them wrong.

I also recently came out as bisexual. Word spread throughout my school pretty fast and before I knew it, freshmen were pointing at me in the hall as "that girl who likes girls." Also, since people consider me pretty, many guys tend to sexualize my orientation. I usually get comments from guys like, "let's have a three way. You can pick the girl" or "you're bisexual? Ooh that's hot, you're boyfriend is so lucky." Like what? What does my boyfriend got to do with anything? Why is my sexuality the reason why he's "lucky?" Whereas two other girls who recently came out as well were demonized and bullied. Luckily my school has a GSA (gay-straight alliance) and my friends and I tried to support the girls as much as possible. It was just shocking to me how people behaved so differently with those girls verses me.

I also am best friends with two girls who are also considered pretty. We're usually compared to each other to the point where apparently some guys have a list of which one of us is the hottest. I also gets comments such as, "your best friends are really hot, but you're hotter" as I know my other two friends get as well. I'm not sure if comments like those are supposed to make me feel better or something, but they don't.

There's also the whole guys focusing on my looks instead of my personality which is really annoying, but I guess that's high school for you.
