Admittedly, All I've got going for me is being a college freshman with good grades and likes to play guitar.

I've asked classmates (none of them can sing or play an instrument according to what they said) if the want to just pick an instrument and just jam with me for fun anyway.

They all refused.

So I tried to join my college's music group months ago and got rejected right off the bat...

That kind of messed me up to be honest, I told them I'm a beginner who's been trying to get better and wants to play with other musicians.

So I've been using a metronome, practicing scales, chordprogressions, muting, singing and play every day ever since I made that recording

What else can I do if I'm genuinely trying to be friends first before trying to make her my girlfriend and not be placed in the friendzone?

Even though I'm not overweight, I'm planning on hitting the gym and staying dedicated to it to build muscle, though I mostly want to help improve my chances.

What do you guys think about this?

I'm sure a relationship won't be perfect, I believe there will be arguments, disagreements, etc.

Though I'm honestly still tired of not having a woman to have good and bad times with.

I seriously wish I had a girlfriend to spend time with walking around at parks while holding hands at parks for example, play songs for her, go on date nights and more.
