I had a gf at the time, let's call her "Mary", we had been dating for 10 months, and then school was back (we went to diff high schools), and I was in law class with none of my great friends, I was minding my business, turned around and saw an angel we'll call her "Lauren".

I knew that I needed to dump Mary for Lauren, despite the fact that I had known Lauren for a long time, but I finally saw her for the beauty she was. I flirted with her day and night for 3 months. She finally admitted to liking me, but not being sure that I was someone worthy of dating as I had a bit of a reputation as a flirtatious dude.

We finally became a couple when I told her to meet me on Christmas eve and I had written her love letter and asked her to be my girlfriend for Xmas.

We dated for 4 years and broke up because I did something idiotic and because it wouldn't have worked in the end, we would have to overcome religion and racism.
