I get all fuzzy inside knowing how much my neighbourhood appreciates me cleaning up our patch of wooded area so we can all enjoy some clean and "untouched" nature. I'm on year three of doing sweeps of the area picking up any and all pieces of trash so that my soul can get nourishment from the beauty of nature.

I've also installed a big pot with gravel for people to put their cigarette butts in. Most smokers use it and due to the size of it I only have to empty it three or four times a year or so. I figured, smokers will smoke so why don't I give them somewhere to put their trash so that they don't pollute my freshly cleaned wooded area. I'm very happy with the response I've gotten and the whole community seems to enjoy the area more than the years before I took up this hobby.

Most of the polluters don't even live here. They don't have to see the "festive" little pieces of plastic konfetti they dropped all over the cliff on new years Eve. People where really happy when I hunted down the majority of those and disposed of them. :)
