[Serious] What was the most terrifying nightmare you've had?

I had terrible nightmares growing up which only stopped about 3 years ago. I’ve also experienced countless lucid dreams and astral projections throughout my life.

My worst nightmare ever also happened to be the shortest. In it I was lying down on my bed in complete darkness looking at the door, which was half closed. Suddenly, a man about 6’7 appeared on the outside of the door, peeking through and looking directly at me with the worst fucking smile I’ve ever seen. From my past dreams I knew this man was the devil. And I invited him into my room and asked to be possessed. After that he ran towards me and I woke up, screaming and crying.
