To you and /u/followupquestion, I have a trade-in 590 and also bought a new Mossberg 500 from there. I had a small issue with the 500 when I first shot it. Some shells it didn't want to cycle properly. It would eject but the shell that was fed onto the lifter sometimes would get stuck on the lip of the elevator. Nothing serious, a small shake would get it to carry into the chamber. I'm confident I wasn't short stroking it, but after cycling it a couple dozen times with snap caps and shooting it some more, I haven't had a problem with any of the ammo I've loaded.

Haven't checked out those Mossbergs above, but if you want a pump it'll do you good. If any of the 870s were made before '07 they should be decent, too.
