As a long suffering Panther fan, I feel the conflicted nature of the fan base in this post.

But for sure, we're playing/have played ourselves out of a QB in this draft. By all accounts there are two that could step in day 1-Young and Stroud. We're likely not getting either of them if we make the playoffs because the cost to get to #2 overall will be pretty steep and I'm not sure it'll be worth it.

Next up is Levis who is raw but has upside. Maybe he falls but with so many teams needing a QB, I doubt it. Even then, he likely needs time to work on his skills.

Now, I think all of this doesn't matter if we miss the playoffs because then we're in striking range of a QB and the cost to get ahead of other teams may be more manageable.
