Should I sell my PS3 games?

I should test that out. I have 3 PS3s in my house with different types of drives and different models. My problem is that I really don't have any DLC for my games that don't already have a disc with it on it.

Journey was released on a compilation disc for the PS3 and it doesn't require any online connection to play. Shadow of the Colossus and ICO were both released on disc and it's not too badly priced. There are a few compilation discs for the PS3. If you like Far Cry Blood Dragon, the only physical disc released for that was a redbox exclusive for the Xbox 360. I would search all the gaming stores in your area for a copy of Nier.

Some games are on disc but the majority of the digital games will never be on a disc due to various reasons. This will cause some major problems in the future where there will be a lot of lost games. In cinema and TV its a big problem and I know that it will be even worse with gaming. I think the problems are already there, it's just that most people haven't been effected by it yet.

I think that the Xbox and PS2 will be one of the final consoles that anyone will collect for in the future. Since day one patches are now a common occurrence, there will be a lot of broken games that were once good after the patches came out. The way to look at it is if the internet was gone forever, what would be the consequence. Someone playing a game like No Man's Sky will have a much different experience than someone that played it after the day one patch. The practice of pressing a game and fixing it later really needs to end. There will be a lot of games that are great that will be remembered much worse than what we experienced due to no patches being available.
