We should do a weekly poll on who Reddit thinks will win each matchup.

Shocked at the results for Colts vs Chargers.... Call me a homer, but...

Colts on Offense:

  • The Colts have a bad O-Line (PFF has the Colts O-line ranked 24th, while Charger's O-line is ranked 5th)
  • The Chargers have an amazing secondary, including 3 interceptions so far, and one of the best shutdown DBs playing in the NFL right now.
  • Through the air is the only consistent success Indianapolis has really seen, so this match up is dangerous on this side of the ball for the Colts.
  • The run game from the Colts is lackluster, averaging 80 yds/game, so it's difficult to say they'd try and run over San Diego's front, or even if that's an option because...
  • San Diego has only allowed opponents an average of 75 rush yards per game.
  • Colts have a -1 turnover ratio
  • Chargers have a +3 turnover ratio

Chargers on Offense:

  • Chargers have averaged 150 rush yards per game.
  • The Colts defense is terrible (and injured) and have allowed an average of 125 rushing yards per game...
  • Chargers still have depth at WR, despite losing Woodhead and Allen, especially with picking up Dexter McCluster and Griff Whalen.
  • PFF has the Charger's O-line is ranked 5th

Really though, it's 99% because...:

There's so many broken backs on that list, that "Lame" is the literal and only correct term for the Colts right now.

FrankGorely, I'm shocked people are expecting much out of them this week other than a (relatively) old man who may have just enough magic to make me look stupid.
