Mend or Spend creates a powerful incentive. It encourages the wealthy to become part of the solution. In order to avoid the fierce new tax, the wealthy would spring into action to share more of their prosperity with the rest of us. And if they failed to "Mend" the problem, then the "Spend" component would be triggered to save the day

Is an example implementation. You don't have to look too hard through that thread to determine that it's a botted thread and the true objective.
They probably can’t get them removed from something like Hotel.com because they don’t own it so if people started going to the other sites and left reviews there it would be a bigger headache.
