Simple Questions - December 27, 2020

Hello smart people! I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to this stuff and I had a PC built by Cyberpower, but I now want to upgrade from 8GB to 16GB of RAM.

My question is, what is the benefit of going for a stick with a higher speed? My current stick has a speed of 2400, so should I stick to that when replacing it or will I see a difference with the one I'm currently eyeing at 3200? I'm in the UK if that matters at all for what's available. Thanks!

MB: MSI Z370-A PRO INTEL Z370 Chipset, ATX Mainboard w/ 4 RAM

CPU: Intel(R) Core i7-8700K - 6-Core 3.70GHz, 4.70GHz Turbo - 12MB

Current Memory: 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4/2400mhz Dual Channel Memory (HyperX Fury w/Heat Spreader)

I'm considering: HyperX Fury HX432C16FB3A/16 Memory DIMM DDR4 16 GB 3200 MHz CL16 RGB, Black
