Thanks for your advice! My host mom is on me about buying more sweaters because she thinks I’m cold, and these are thicker than the ones I have. (My sweaters are all second hand wool or cashmere, but I’m in Eastern Europe right now and they’re a bit extra about warmth here). My money is all stipend or stuff that I earned and saved, which my host mom knows, but I guess the difference in income is still a big thing. Shrinking things would actually be the ideal solution, if I can get it to work—they have plenty of great stuff here, I’m just tiny so it’s all about three or four sizes too large. Do you need a dryer to shrink things, or is it the hot water that does it?
