I think people forget men are usually the ones who prioritize looks more than women. Isnt she literally married to an ugly man lol. And she has a valid concern about how her child turns out appearance wise. She knows human nature is superficial and that her child will be treated worse if ugly. As an ugly person myself, existence is absolutely nasty. Its the main reason why im antinatalist myself. She shld just not reproduce to risk the chance of an ugly person being born but ofc she’ll still procreate so ya, i would say its even good she bothered to worry about that. Most people here who are like damn shes shallow what a bitch- are u telling me uve never gravitated to good looking people and just leave the ugly ones alone or even avoid them? Its subconscious. Ugliness just triggers unpleasant sensations in humans. Why do we like cute animals but hate ugly disgusting looking insects. Why do we pick prettier fruits and vegetables over misshapen ones with spots or tinier leaves for example.
