Since this sub really hates false equivalencies. What do you think of the recent USA = Nazi Germany comparison?

No, the only reason I don’t equate left and right extremism is because I think, currently, right wing extremism is more dangerous (more violent, more crimes, more murders)

Left wing extremism, as an ideology, to me, is just as bad as right wing extremism. Leftists are not opposed to fascism. Read up about social fascism. I don’t think I have to tell you about Stalin or Mao for you to see the dangers in left wing extremism.

If leftists only engage in violence when all political tools have failed, how are they at all justifiable in modern day USA? I mean you guys had an election literally a year ago where dema took back the house. There is an election in one year where Trump could be easily voted out.

I live in the middle east as a religious minority, believe me when I tell you Islamic extremism (which is really just Islam) is not even close to any christian extremist. You won’t find a single priest around the world who is willing to advocate for the killing of people who leave Christianity, that belief is mainstream in the Muslim world. Many churches hold gay weddings today, while over 99% if mosques call for the death of LGBT people. There are 100 ways in which they are different. Christianity went through an enlightenment period where people learned to separate church and state. Islam never went through that, which is why over 80% of Muslims call for the return of the Ottoman Empire. It’s very hard to find a christian calling for the return of the Roman/Byzantine empire.

I only bring this up to show you that leftists engage in false-equivalencies just as much as right winger in order to push a political agenda.
