Some Americans Will Think Differently.

The immigration system is broken that’s the truth. It’s specifically broken for anybody south of the United States. It’s easier for people other countries to fix documents than the counties below the United States. It’s a situation where everyone is wrong and no one wins. I have friends/family who are know or are undocumented immigrants. They’ve tried to apply legally for documents and get inline but it just extremely long that you either go into the United States without documents and break the law and can make money and feed yourself and your family or work even shit wages and stay in your country and not be able to feed yourself and your family. At the same time United States should invest heavily into fixing the immigration issue in a smart way, not by building a walls, arresting immigrants already here and sending them back, etc. That doesn’t stop the flow of migrants jumping or crossing the border. People will keep coming in by, wether you want to or not. The US knows it can get cheap labor and doesn’t want to do anything about this. It’s not the entire immigrants fault, they’re just doing what they can to survive. I’m sure if you were dying of hunger and wanted something better for yourself you would do what ever it takes, even break the law if you had to feed your daughter or son, wife, husband, whatever. But I doubt you see it this way. What the United States needs to do is have an immigration reform for those who came into the country before a certain year and sending those who came after out. An undocumented immigrants would have to pay a heavy fee for breaking the law and be required to learn English to be assimilated into the culture. This process would bring money back into the economy little by little, it takes time. While this occurs the border would have to be strategically blocked with more patrols and better technology to stop the inflow. The United States should heavily consider granting more visas, and documents to neighboring counties north and south than those even farther away, as it’s harder for those not near us to unlawfully migrant into the country. I believe in doing a process as I’ve described would little by little fix this whole issue with American citizens hiring unauthorized residents to work, creating a unfair wage situation to be born. It’s not a simple process, but people need to understand what it need to take to fix this issue at its core, it’s not a one day thing, but rather an issue that can get fixed over a course of years. There are studies that show that US is lacking workers, but unauthorized workers can’t work because it would be breaking its own law. There needs to be a way to bring those who are already here unlawfully to be given a right to work here, some sort of way. Without immigrant workers this country would crumble, people need to get off their high horse and admit that. We give immigrants too much shit for what they already have on their plate. Additionally, studies have show that creating a massive immigration reform would add billions of dollars into the US economy, more jobs would be filled and money would be easily flowed back into our economy. It’s like that wether people like it or not. Immigrants are a root of their country and need to stop complaining about them and grab the bill by the horns and fix this problem at the core than to slap a band aid on it, it’s gonna keep happening if no genuine thought is given into it.
