How I envision their futures: Starting where the TV series leaves off: After Tamaki dances with Haruhi in a dress the other students realize she is a girl. Strangely many suspected and aren’t bothered by it. Once Mori and Honey graduate, new members are initiated to the club with two new members being females who have several male admirers. Haruhi becomes more feminine as she progresses through school. She still wears a boy’s uniform but adds a few subtle ruffles and accessories. When she graduates she has shoulder length hair. Tamaki – As he ages he realizes that he really isn’t in love with Haruhi that he is attracted her lack of adoration for him. Many girls fall for his charm but Haruhi doesn’t so he was obsessed with winning her. He rejects his father’s side and decides to go to college. He pledges his undying love to Haruhi when he graduates, but quickly loses interest in keeping their relationship strong. He decides to go to school in France where he reunites with his mother. He ends up going to culinary school where none of his classmates faun over him because they see him as competition. At night he visits a karaoke bar and meets a dark headed green eyed girl who is fun and goofy like himself. They fall in love over the year.
Kyoya – As he goes through school his feeling for Haruhi grow but he knows she doesn’t feel the same about him so he remains her friend. He continues to excel in school and gets accepted into Harvard school of business. At first he struggles with the cultural changes and loneliness until he meets an American waitress with red hair and blue eyes that calls him hun. She is studying to be a lawyer which catches his attention because it reminds him of Haruhi. Over time he visits the diner more and more frequently (plus he secretly adores cheeseburgers), he admires that she is motivated and kind but has a bit of a mean streak. He eventually asks her out on a date which ends up with him walking her home and she invites him inside. One thing leads to another and that end up in the bedroom where he finds the passion he has always wanted. The next morning he smiles knowing she is the girl for him. Hikaru – as school goes on the twins come out of their shells more and more. They start taking different classes and Hikaru especially expands his horizons by taking electives in art. He is excellent at designing and starts gaining friends in the art department. Eventually he applies to college in New York where he can focus on his art. Kaoru – as Hikaru becomes more artistic, Kaoru becomes more scientific. He starts taking classes in science and several other fields. He finds that he loves learning in general. Every year he grows closer to Haruhi as his brother branches out into new things. He too gains new friends and starts socializing, but not as much as his brother. He and Haruhi start dating during their last year but aren’t ready to go the next step after graduating. So Kaoru decides to travel instead of going straight to college. It is the first time he is away from his twin but in this time he finds himself. He has several flings with different kinds of women but still thinks of Haruhi. He decides that he would like to become a teacher and enrolls in Haruhi’s college. Haruhi – Upon graduating and breaking up with Kaoru, she goes to law school at Oxford. She dates various people but reminisces about her time in the host club. One day she spots Kaoru and he waves to her. They rekindle their relationship and fall deeply in love. Haruhi and Kaoru graduate college and decide to get married. Their friends come to their wedding and they find that Tamaki is starting his own restaurant with backing from Kyoya. Tamaki has reconciled with his father after the death of his grandmother but isn’t interested in the family business. He is happy with a child on the way and has no hard feeling about his once love marrying another. Kyoya is a business tycoon and is planning to marry the lawyer he loves. Hikaru is about to release his first fashion line and is quite happy with the bachelor life for now. Kaoru is now a teacher at Ouran and Haruhi works at a nearby lawfirm. Everyone is happy and enjoys the wedding immensely. They decide to come together every year on Haruhi and Kaoru’s anniversary.
