Strictness of Diet, Advice Please

I have been strict lazy keto since day one. I have not cheated and feel great and have lost a lot of weight. I find keto super easy to do on a daily basis. I had a big issue with carbs, I recognize that I ate them in an addictive manner.

All that being said, I stepped away from keto this last weekend Thursday night - Saturday afternoon). I did not "cheat" this was planned before I started, this day was actually planned a year ago. I did not want to change the menu as the day was not about me and I planned to enjoy the day fully. I went into it knowing the risks, while I partook of all that was offered, I thought carefully about what I ate and how much. The first night, I filled up on salad and I put two mouthfuls of the the pasta on my plate and 5 small squares of pizza. I skipped desert. I really wanted more pizza. The next day I had a piece of toast at the breakfast with my keto friendly omlet, I was not hungry for lunch and dinner I ate everything, but concentrated on the more keto friendly foods. They chose pie vs. cake and I picked the pie I thought I'd like the least and took a small piece. I really wanted more pie after. I looked at that pie all night. I made a toast with root beer (it's our thing since I don't drink) and was fine with a few sips. Saturday Lunch I mistakenly thought something was keto friendly (I ate it the night before, but my taste buds didn't detect surgar because well I already had sugar). Saturday and Sunday I really really wanted carbs and I gained 4 lbs. Today I am fine, but I had to be tough. Still waiting until I get back to the same weight to post a full report. My overall opinion is was worth it because of the day... Will I do it again? Probably not. Okay, I have one more kid, I'd do it for their wedding too :)
