The Forest Hills Drive Tour – Act 3: Hollywood, brings platinum-selling rapper, J. Cole to COTA’s outdoor arena. Experience the Forest Hills Drive album on a new level with background stories direct from J. Cole. The concert features Big Sean with special guests YG and Jeremih, plus Dreamville artists Bas, Cozz and Omen. Tickets start at $29.50.


Bat Fest 2015
Saturday, Aug 22, 2015 from 4pm-Midnight
Congress Ave Bridge

Roadway Productions and Blind Side Tattoo Studio present the 11th annual celebration of all things bat. 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats emerge from under the Congress Ave bridge at dusk (between 7:00 and 9:00pm). In the meantime, enjoy live music from 18 bands including Cypress Hill and Henry + The Invisibles, over 75 craft vendors, food and a bat costume contest. Tickets start at $15.


Austin Hot Sauce Festival
Sunday, Aug 23, 2015 from 11am-5pm
Fiesta Gardens

The Austin Chronicle hosts the 25th annual hot sauce festival. Hundreds of salsa specialists compete in the world’s largest competition. Join the party and enjoy a variety of food vendors including Amy’s Ice Cream and Slab BBQ. Music lovers can feast their ears on five live bands including Dale Watson and his Lone Stars and Sweet Spirit. Admission is free with a donation to the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas.


Austin Symphony Hartman Foundation “Concerts in the Park”

The Hartman Foundation FREE “Concerts in the Park,” presented by the Austin Symphony Orchestra, bring the community together, just as similar events did in town centers years ago. This Sunday, for the final concert of summer, we’ll hear Big Band music at 7:30pm. FREE Parking is available at One Texas Center located on Barton Springs Rd. at S. 1st St.
