Survivor Week 1

I don't disagree with most of what you're saying. I'm mostly saying I don't blame people who wanted to sit on the sidelines for a while to make sure a vaccine with an abbreviated production process since it was needed for an emergency purpose was safe - since while rare, people do have serious side effects from vaccines. It would be nearly impossible to conduct thorough clinical trials on the vaccine to make sure it's as safe as they believe in such a short period of time. Now that Pfizer has FDA approval I would think this would help convince some people who are skeptical of the vaccine to get it.

Of course there are some people who are against vaccines in general and/or believe wild conspiracy theories that the vaccines implant a tracking chip into you or whatever. There's no helping those people. But just people who want to make sure it's safe I think we're going to get there with those people sooner than later. I'm personally a similar way. I'm willing to trust them, but I want to see actual data that backs up what they're saying before I'm willing to trust them. I didn't wait until the FDA approval but I did want to make sure that there were no major issues with people experiencing serious side effects. I got vaccinated about 3 months ago, so I personally am no longer part of the non vaccinated group for which I'm arguing the case why some may have had legitimate reasons to be skeptical.
