Use drones to taste. I prefer to use the Gecko most of the time but heavies are better at taking out frigs (tracking on frigs is kinda rough but it pretty much one-shots them when they land). Missiles, I prefer to use the T1 because they get like 9k more range and some RR cruisers will sit outside T2 heavy range, but the T2s are nice if you have yourself positioned well for a wave that's BS-heavy.

It absolutely doesn't need a faction Shield Boost Amp! I just can't use T2 on my toon that runs sites and never remember to pick up a meta mod, but you could use T1 and be fine.

It's not 100% cap stable natively but it has like 12-13 minutes if you permarun the repper, which you really won't need to do. In my experience you only need to worry about cap life at all if you take a Blue Pill and roll bad secondary effects.

Uh, also I just threw it into Pyfa and it's more like 660 reps and 1240 DPS not 1100 of each so I sorta lied, but it does fucking excellent for C3s. It runs some C4 anoms too, but really slow, not advised alone.
