Texas Tech on lockdown after reported shooting; tweet indicates “shooter is at large”

License test for each state (including pee test and mental health checks) , picture & address shooters license, computer stored state/national registration and tags for each gun and mandatory insurance for each gun.

On the flip side the licensing could be lettered according to ability and training plus come with different endorsements. In this way a private citizen could potentially have machine gun endorsements and rocket launcher endorsements. Flying weapons endorsements and other interesting and dangerous weapons endorsements.

The only people screaming about gun issues are the "muh 2nd amendment" dorks who seem to think zero govt accountability is what the framers had in mind. It wasn't. Sadly ironic is that this specific cop killing is exactly what the 2nd amendment dorks believe the 2nd amendment is for. (It is not). This guy had private property (drug paraphernalia), the police busted in and kidnapped him for having it and he protected his human rights with the 2nd amendment. That sounds stupid even writing it because it is.

The 2nd amendment was a way to stop a tyrannical govt from having complete control over our lives...that time has long since past. We have no ability (as this shooting shows) to use force to protect ourselves from the govt. The US govt is now way to large and well armed. The police had this kid locked up in a few hours. No 2nd amendment is going to protect people from the technological terror we have constructed. The only force we have left to use is the vote.
