Texas will give public info to Trump voter fraud commission

much of the information requested publicly available.

but the Republican said in a statement he will protect private information.

Yet, Texas won't disclose what information they will turn over. Hmm, i wonder why? I mean, surely they could put everyone at ease by clearly stating what data they're disclosing, especially if it's unequivocally public information. Curious, no? And some of this data can be interpreted either way, and it's availability varies from State to State, blurring the lines between what's considered public and private.

Here, lets critically think together: If the information that this new "Commission on Election Integrity" wanted was publicly available, they could compile it themselves without any special requests whatsoever, and yet, as I'm sure that you're aware because you mentioned you understand this subject thoroughly, many States are refusing the requests to the frustration of the Administration. Trump even acknowledges that States are keeping it 'hidden', and he even postulated that the States are rejecting requests "because they have something to "hide". Now, how can publicly available data also be hidden? That's completely paradoxical! Again, why would they need compliance if they can retrieve the data themselves, just like the general public can, as you suggest?

Regardless of your interpretation, breaching voter privacy is absolutely in the nature of this Commission on Election Integrity's endeavor.
